Leyden is seeking an experienced, high performing Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor in Personnel Vetting (PV) to support a DoD client program. The ideal candidate is passionate about Personnel Security and Vetting, Teaching, and Instructional Systems Design. This position is on-site in Linthicum, MD and requires an active Secret clearance.
This position is HYBRID, with one day a week in office in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and update training curriculum and materials for personnel vetting processes.
- Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions on personnel security principles, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
- Stay current with changes in personnel security and vetting regulations and incorporate these changes into training programs.
- Provide guidance and support to trainees during and after the completion of training courses.
- Collaborate with security professionals and other instructors to enhance training quality and effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of education from an accredited university and 2 years of experience in the Personnel Vetting field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, five years of experience as an instructor for adult learners, in formal classroom or via distance learning courses related to DoD Security Policy
- Experience in Personnel Vetting
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Current Secret security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in Personnel Vetting
